The math is simple and brutal: some will live, most will die. In Battlefield 2142, players choose to fight for one of two military superpowers - the European Union or the newly formed Pan Asian Coalition -in an epic battle for survival.

Armed with a devastating arsenal of hi-tech weaponry, including assault rifles, cloaking devices and sentry guns, players will also take control of the most lethal vehicles known to man. Massive Battle Walkers wage fierce combat on the ground, while futuristic aircraft rule the skies. When taking on this futuristic armor players will need to use their wits and an arsenal of new hi-tech countermeasures like EMP grenades and smart mines to level the playing field.

Epic online gameplay for up to 64 players drops gamers on the front lines as part of a formal squad, or behind the scenes in Commander Mode to direct the strategic assaults of their team-mates.

For the first time in the history of the franchise, Battlefield 2142 will include a brand new game type to complement the classic conquest game. The epic, new Titan mode challenges gamers to destroy the opposing army's Titan - a massive, heavily armored, flying warship - while defending their own. To defeat a Titan, gamers must first take down its shields, board the craft and fight to its inner core before detonating it from the inside. This genre leading gameplay innovation changes the way you play, encouraging both teamplay and strategy in explosive large-scale confrontations.

With in-game success, players increase their rank and unlock awards, including new weapons, medals and more, delivering the most comprehensive and flexible persistence in the Battlefield universe to date.

64-Players Online*: Experience all-out war with Battlefield's legendary multiplayer for up to 64 players.

Real-Time Persistence: To the victor goes the spoils! Equipment, medals and other rewards are awarded in-game and in real time. Choose an unlock and have access to it immediately next time you spawn. The game features five times more unlocks than Battlefield 2.

Customizable Abilities: Gamers can expand their abilities and blend multiple player classes to match their play-style.

The Settlers The Eastern Realm - PROCYON

The Settlers: Rise of an Empire รป The Eastern Realm is the
first add-on to The Settlers: Rise of an Empire.

The Goddess of the Green Fire doesn't like the old Eastern
Empire which is now under your rule. So as any good enemy,
she threatens the current state of peace and has to be
eliminated. But yours is not the only state in the Eastern
Realm that is threatened by the presence of the Goddess so
the beautiful Saraya, only child of Praphat, Mogul of Hidun,
allies herself with you.

She is the only new hero the add-on adds to the game and her
passive abilities lowers not only the building price of
trading posts but also makes it cheaper to buy resources
there. Her activate ability is to demand tribute from other
factions.

Besides the new hero, the most obvious new addition is the
climate. Much like in the winter scenarios in the original,
not everything can be produced in a desert and the new weather
pattern monsoon can make whole areas inaccessible due to
floods. Honey, fish and corn are none existent there. To help
the player to overcome these handicaps a bit, the add-on brings
two new buildings to the game: the fountain and the trading
post. While the fountain saves up water during the rain season
which can then be used during the dry season, the trading post
allows the player to engage in trading with the other factions.
There are also a few new decorative objects available including
a triumphal arch and a sun-dial.

The last gameplay addition is the return of the geologist,
already known from the previous games. But unlike the previous
games in which he scouted good places for new mines, this time
he can reactivate already dry iron-mines.

Besides the new campaign the add-on also includes new
multiplayer- and single player-maps. Three multiplayer-maps and
four single player-maps were made by the community during a mapping
contest held on the official website of the game.

Gothic

The Game begins with the Nameless Hero thrust into the barrier, and soon afterward befriended by Diego, one of the Shadows from the Old Camp. After the Hero has joined a camp, he is sent to the Swamp Camp to aid a ritual that is supposed to destroy the barrier.

The Hero has to reclaim a focus stone for Y'Berion, leader of the Swamp Camp. Afterwards, he must help another high-ranking Swamp camp member gather minecrawler secretion to help the novices contact the Sleeper. The Hero heads to the Old Mine and kills a Minecrawler Queen, securing enough secretion in the process. Afterwards his faction awards him with a promotion.

Next, the Hero must secure an Almanac that is needed for the invocation, from a band of Black Goblins. Finally, the ritual is ready to commence (thus begins chapter 3).

The ritual fails, and the hero is sent to the ~Censored~ Orc Cemetery to try and figure out what happened. After his return, he is sent to gather healing herbs for Y'Berion, who is ill. The Hero is unable to help him, and Y'Berion dies. Cor Angar takes command of the camp and sends the Hero (along with the focus stone and the Almanac) to the mages at the New Camp, to help in their escape plan.

The water mages plan to bust out of the barrier using huge amounts of ore to power the spell to free themselves; they, however, require the 5 focus stones to be able to do it. The Hero is sent to gather the remaining four focus stones. At each of the locations, one of the Hero's friends helps him. Milten (Fire Mage in the Old Camp) helps him at the Stonehenge, Diego (Shadow in the Old Camp) at the Troll Canyon, Gorn (Mercenary from the New Camp) at the Cloister Ruin and Lester (Novice of the Swamp Camp) at the Mountain Fortress. These four had forged a pact to help the Hero in his quests.

After the focus stones are secured, Saturas (leader of the Water Mages) wants the Hero to perform one more task - to summon other mages inside the Barrier, to help. At this point, the Hero is able to acquire new armor again. However, tragedy has struck! The mine controlled by the old camp has collapsed when the diggers breached an underground river. Gomez, leader of the Old Camp, used the ore from the mine to trade with the king. With his ore gone, he knew he would lose his position of power within the barrier, so he plans to attack the New Camp and secure their mine. The Fire Mages disagree with Gomez's plan and in a fit of rage Gomez slaughters all the Fire Mages (except Milten, who managed to escape) and marches on the New Camp. The Hero is deemed a traitor, and cannot enter the camp any more. If the Hero joined the Old Camp, he is now able to join the New Camp instead.

The Hero must now seek the elusive 13th mage, Xardas, who has turned his back to the other mages to study the Dark Arts. Unfortunately, he lives in a huge tower deep in the Orc Lands. After defeating his three guard golems, the Hero meets Xardas. Xardas sends the Hero to seek a renegade Orc shaman, Ur-Shak, in order to be able to peacefully enter the Orc Village (which guards the entrance to an ancient temple). The hero is sent to the Free Mine to get the help from an Orc there.

Unfortunately, the Free Mine is now under the control of the Old Camp. Gorn helps the Hero in his fight. At this point, the Hero is also able to get Wolf, a mercenary from the New Camp, to make him a special armor from minecrawler plates. Afterwards, the Hero proceeds to make the artifact required to get peaceful admittance into the Orc Village (an Ulu-Mulu).

The Hero battles against five undead Shamans to proceed further into the temple, but is unable to defeat the 5th. Xardas speaks of a magic sword, Uriziel, that the hero must get to progress further. In order to power up the sword, the Hero must trick the Water Mages, and use the mound of ore stored in their camp. Afterwards, the whole New Camp will consider the Hero a traitor. Uriziel can be turned into a magic Rune, if he is a mage.

Equipped with the finest armor (found in Xardas' old tower) and weapon in the game, the hero enters the temple to finally defeat the Sleeper. He succeeds in doing so, but is buried alive once the temple begins collapsing. The Barrier, however, has been destroyed.

Age of Empires III

Six years have flown by since Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings became one of the definitive real-time strategy games on the market. Age of Kings typified this style of gaming in many respects, but it innovated and improved the style in many others, establishing the template for untold numbers of historic real-time strategy games to come. Coming off the successful spin-off that was Age of Mythology, Ensemble Studios is back with another installment in the series that put the developer's name on the map. Age of Empires III advances the series hundreds of years into the future, trading swordsmen and catapults for musketeers and cannons, while keeping the series' signature formula basically intact. What's more, the game features some gorgeous visuals and an interesting, inventive twist in its persistent "home city" system. So it's unfortunate that the actual meat-and-potatoes combat of Age of Empires III didn't turn out better, since what ought to be the most fun and exciting part of the game is actually the part that feels like it's seen the fewest improvements.

Conflict.Vietnam-SPiTFiRE

Conflict: Vietnam is the third entry in the Conflict series, which began with Conflict: Desert Storm. Developer Pivotal Games is taking the series a few decades back to the Vietnam War and is placing you in the role of a new recruit who finds himself cut off behind enemy lines during the 1968 Tet Offensive. Your goal is to make it through 100 miles of booby-trapped and enemy-infested terrain, along with your squad, to get to the capital city of Hue. Today we'll offer a look at the new skill system that's being implemented into the latest iteration of Conflict to add a new element to its gameplay. The skill advancement system in Conflict: Vietnam lets you choose one of nine different skill sets for the members of your squad to specialize in. These features add a level of customization that makes it possible to build up all manner of squad configurations, such as a stealth-kill team consisting entirely of snipers or a squad of heavy-weapon experts. You'll increase the different skills available to you with points that you earn for completing primary and bonus objectives, such as taking down enemy soldiers and vehicles, maintaining fire accuracy, and successfully executing stealth kills. Points are deducted for killing civilians and friendly soldiers. These points are split among the four squadmates and are then spent to raise their skills in such skill categories as Pistol, Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Machine Gun, Grenade, Shotgun, Medic, Rocket Launcher, and Booby Traps. The higher the skill, the more points it costs to raise.
